Hello! I am trying ConTeXt with XeTeX and after processing the file I got this message: TeXExec | processing document 'eduardo-nunes-conteste.tex' TeXExec | no ctx file found TeXExec | tex processing method: context TeXExec | TeX run 1 TeXExec | writing option file eduardo-nunes-conteste.top TeXExec | using randomseed 51 TeXExec | tex engine: xetex TeXExec | tex format: cont-en This is XeTeX, Version 3.141592-2.2-0.996 (Web2C 7.5.6) (WARNING: translate-file "natural.tcx" ignored) entering extended mode (./eduardo-nunes-conteste.tex systems : end file eduardo-nunes-conteste at line 276 system : cont-err loaded (/usr/share/texmf/tex/context/base/cont-err.tex systems : no file 'cont-sys.tex', using 'cont-sys.rme' instead ) ! You can't use `\end' in internal vertical mode. <recently read> \normalend l.276 \stoptext No PDF was produced. I read in the mail list a message about this warning (! You can't use `\end' in internal vertical mode.) but I couldn't understand. Could you please tell me what is the problem with my file or my installation of context? Thanks! armando

| Best wishes, | Taco Hi all, After an update about one hour ago, I just had the same error with a "cite" command inside a footnote. Removing the command to put it in the text has the error vanish. I use xetex. All the best -- Jean

After an update about one hour ago, I just had the same error with a "cite" command inside a footnote. Removing the command to put it in the text has the error vanish.

Awfully right! I tried a minimal example, no more error, then I tried again on my whole file, no more error! (some mystery remains anyway in my mind...) Sorry for the noise :-( -- Jean
