Hello, ConTeXt normally generates a "normal" kind of PDF. But it doesn't necessarily involve all font glyphs. Is there an option, e.g.\setupbackend[??], to force ConTeXt to involve all font glyphs into PDF? - The PDF A/3b does this, but A/3b has some disadvantages, so I'd rather use "normal" PDF with all font glyphs involved. How can I do this? (To work with MKIV, if possible.) Thanks in advance. Best regards, Lukas

irr we had a feature to add characters in mkii but in mkiv / mkxl it makes no sense (imagine some cjk font) .. you can put some invisible text 5 meter in the margin \starttext \dontleavehmode \llap{\starteffect[hidden]abcdef\stopeffect\hskip500cm}% [nothing seen] \samplefile{tufte} \stoptext (probably on time in a header or background or ...) not something i like to waste time on Hans ----------------------------------------------------------------- Hans Hagen | PRAGMA ADE Ridderstraat 27 | 8061 GH Hasselt | The Netherlands tel: 038 477 53 69 | www.pragma-ade.nl | www.pragma-pod.nl -----------------------------------------------------------------
