Wrong cache-path with luatex
Hi! Within my luatex-chache directory there is the directory "2afa1e18082b2d9b8e2af9f2c6e925a6". But when I call texexec --lua it searches for a directory called "0aa031a3f94c398f99a9660a610ae9ef". I linked this with the existing one, but now luatex can't find any fontfiles anymore. Running luatex with --fmt=.../2afa1e18082b2d9b8e2af9f2c6e925a6 everything works fine. luatools --generate says alot about 2afa1e18082b2d9b8e2af9f2c6e925a6. I'm using the latest Contextgarden-Beta. Any ideas how to solve this? Best regards, Eyke

I suggest to use minimals. When I have these kind of problems, I delete the cache and then context --generate Eventually I reinstall from minimals. -- luigi

I tried this (again) but that doesn't help. Now I get the old error-message TeXExec | processing document 'test2.tex' TeXExec | no ctx file found TeXExec | tex processing method: context TeXExec | TeX run 1 TeXExec | writing option file test2.top TeXExec | using randomseed 180 TeXExec | tex engine: luatex TeXExec | tex format: cont-en LuaTools | using format name: /[...]/luatex-cache/context/0aa031a3f94c398f99a9660a610ae9ef/formats/cont-en.fmt LuaTools | no luc/lua with name: /[...]/luatex-cache/context/0aa031a3f94c398f99a9660a610ae9ef/formats/cont-en

Did you run . setuptex in tex directory (watch for the initial dot!) ? -- luigi

Hmm, I think this was it. Until now this wasn't necessary. Perhaps something else changes. Thanks alot! Eyke

This is a must . Always ensure to do . setuptext exactly one time before start your luatex session. More . setuptext can mess your env. vars ($PATH etc) -- luigi

There might be some problem with relative versus absolute paths when creating cache path, but I'm not sure how to solve that (that's for Hans ... who usually doesn't work on unix) Mojca
