Re: Getting texfont to do batch installs on gwTeX (was Re: [NTG-context] Palatino)

batch line : --en=texnansi --ve=public --co=antp -- so=auto --ro=TEXMFMAIN
are you sure that you replaced it?
It's weird. Looking through the rest of David's log, it replaced some of them, but not all. I never claimed to be a sed wizard. To David, I'd say open in a text editor and do a global find/replace. Anyway, back to an earlier suggestion by Hans, --ro=TEXMFMAIN,TEXMFTE seems to work for me, except in the case of Adobe Utopia. In that case, --ro=TEXMFMAIN,TEXMFGW should work. Actually, I see the Utopia lines replicated for tl2003+. Should it not be: --ro=TEXMFMAIN,TEXMFGW,TEXMFEXTRA ? [That said, I'm getting perplexing results on a texfont --en=ec type- tmf.dat install: there's an insistence on creating bitmaps for these fonts!] -- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Adam T. i need to check what happened with utopia; it seems to be free now (though the licence is kind of unknown; seems to belong to the x consortium now)
