Dear list, I have used \startclolumnset … \stopcolumnset with \vfill very well for the preparation of the exam paper. However, after updating to the new version, it didn’t work as before. In the example below, the first \column breaks the column and the items are vertically aligned balanced including “\problem 1”(4 lines vertically balanced) even though there is no “\vfill” at all. But the second \column and the third \column don't work. “Problem 2”, “Problem 3” and “Problem 4” are appeared in the second column. \startcolumns … \stopcolumns are working well with \column and \vskip. I used \startcolumnset because I want some boxed background overlay. I am using ConTeXt in Mac OS X and the version of my ConTeXt is "ConTeXt ver: 2025.02.28 18:16 LMTX fmt: 2025.3.13 int: English/English” Thank you for reading. Best regards, Dalyoung Here is a simple test example. \definecolumnset[Exams][separator=rule,n=2] \showframe \setuppagenumbering[state=stop] \starttext \startcolumnset[Exams]%[n=2,separator=rule]% %\startcolumns[separator=rule,n=2] \startitemize \item problem 1 \startitemize[n] \item First problem \item second problem \item third problem \stopitemize \column%[yes] \item problem 2 \startitemize[n] \item First problem \item second problem \item third problem \stopitemize \column%[page] \item problem 3 \startitemize[n] \item First problem \vskip3cm \item second problem \vskip3cm \item third problem \vskip3cm \stopitemize \column \item problem 4 \startitemize[n] \item First problem \item second problem \item third problem \stopitemize \stopitemize %\stopcolumns \stopcolumnset \stoptext
