Hi all, for your information, many significant changes have been done on the wiki pages and their structure. Many pages are now nested by theme to make it easier for new ConTeXt users to navigate (by giving them a better overview of the material available on a given subject) and for wiki users to identify duplicates and old content. Of course, there are still “duplicates”, “aging content” and “unclear tutorials”, but the changes are significant and should be noted here. - Summary of changes - https://wiki.contextgarden.net/Talk:Main_Page#January_2025.2C_improving_wiki... - Before / After illustrations - https://wiki.contextgarden.net/User:Garulfoo#January_2025_Wiki_before_.2F_af... Hoping that these improvements will compensate for the disruption to your habits and the inconveniences of recent weeks.
Hi, That is amazing, thank you! You did an amazing amount of work: user Garulfoo did 4400+ page edits in the last month. Best wishes, Taco

Hi Garulfo, also big thanks from me, especially for the enhanced preview images and the side-by-side layout option! (Also thanks for Taco for their participation and continuous admin work!) For me as someone who works with the wiki a lot, the restructuring needs adjustment – I knew to key in most pages that I need, now I must search, and the links (that I often share) got much longer. I’m also not convinced that one hierarchical structure makes sense for a wiki – generally and especially for a complex system like ConTeXt (there are just too many subjects that fit in several places or nowhere) – while overview pages and interlinking are essential. But you did the work, and I’ll get used to it. If it helps eliminating duplicates and outdated stuff, even better. Hraban
