The following: \starttext %Using \startMPpage instead doesn't help \startTEXpage[width=1920px,height=1080px,margin=1em] \startplacefigure[location=force,number=no] \startMPcode draw textext("some text"); \stopMPcode \stopplacefigure \stopTEXpage \stoptext gives a normal output in MkIV, but buggy output in LMTX.
