Inestead of small capitals for the chapter number you can use capitals in combination with a smaller font size. \setuplabeltext[en][chapter=Chapter~] \setuphead [chapter] [alternative=middle, style=\bfc, numberstyle={\setcharactercasing[WORD]\kerncharacters[0.125]\bfa}, numbercommand=\groupedcommand{}{\blank[4mm]}, sectionstopper={.}, inbetween={\blank[4mm]}, conversion=Romannumerals] Wolfgang
