texexec --version (2005.06.07) & mktextfm ec-lmr12 problem (teTeX 3.0)
Hello, I just updated my teTeX to 3.0 (using RPMs) and to \def\contextversion{2005.06.07} Running texec --version calls mktextfm ec-lmr12 which fails. (I don't have ec-lmr12, should I have it? I have the following: /usr/share/texmf/fonts/afm/public/lm/lmr12.afm /usr/share/texmf/fonts/tfm/public/lm/cork-lmr12.tfm /usr/share/texmf/fonts/tfm/public/lm/qx-lmr12.tfm /usr/share/texmf/fonts/tfm/public/lm/texnansi-lmr12.tfm /usr/share/texmf/fonts/tfm/public/lm/ts1-lmr12.tfm /usr/share/texmf/fonts/type1/public/lm/lmr12.pfb /usr/share/texmf/fonts/type1/public/lm/lmr12.pfm) Tobias texexec --version out puts the following (only the first very few lines shown): TeXExec 5.4.2 - ConTeXt / PRAGMA ADE 1997-2005 texexec : TeXExec 5.4.2 - ConTeXt / PRAGMA ADE 1997-2005 texutil : TeXUtil 9.0.0 - ConTeXt / PRAGMA ADE 1992-2004 kpathsea: Running mktextfm ec-lmr12 mktextfm: Running mf-nowin -progname=mf \mode:=ljfour; mag:=1; nonstopmode; input ec-lmr12 This is METAFONT, Version 2.71828 (Web2C 7.5.4) kpathsea: Running mktexmf ec-lmr12 ! you need the cont-lmt.zip from the main ConTeXt site. See the new wiki page: http://contextgarden.net/TeTeX_3.0_installation Patrick -- ConTeXt wiki and more: http://contextgarden.net

I glanced at "newest version on teTeX-3.0" but it seem to relate to something different. I then looked at the webpage and thought: Well, I can do with the old LM fonts for a while. In fact I cannot.
(And then it took me quite some time to realize that TEXMFCONFIG $HOME/texmf updmap-sys --edit does not work - it has to be updmap without "-sys".) Goes in to corner (and re-reads the thread). Tobias
