new current version
Hi, I've uploaded a current release (so for a moment no beta and alpha). Last years current was dedicated to Mojca but as she's too busy to use the latest greatest shw probably won't even notice that there is a current apart from the fact that her garden will have problems. So, this years current (and there probably will be a few in succesion) is dedicated to Wolfgang who by now knows the source code better than I do. Also, his prompt and detailed answering of questions on the list saved me quite some mails gave me more time to work on MkIV. The MkIV code needs a luatex 0.42 which is released today (a next step towards 0.50 which will be released at eurotex) so you need to fetch a binary from the gforce repository, or hope that new binaries will blossom on the garden. Going current also gives Patrick the opportunity to see if the new git repository structure and synchronization works ok. Is stable OK ? With git I have ***\edef\contextversion{2008.10.31 13:58} * (and no formats -- need etex) -- luigi
Hi Luigi,

I should have mentioned that it will be updated shortly after midnight... Sorry about that Patrick (so tomorrow you can just say `git pull'. :) -- ConTeXt wiki and more: http://contextgarden.net

The version on garden should be working now. Now --context=beta (default) and --context=current should give you the same version of ConTeXt and after a loooong time current version in minimals works again :) :) :) I took the trunk version for Windows since beta-0.42.0 is not yet available on Akira's site. I hope that's OK, but I didn't test it. Mojca

GitX crashes due to so many changes between this and the latest current, so that's probably a good sign :) Mojca

I somewhat messed up with the commit, it should have been child of last beta but it was child of last stable... Next time we will have a more realistic diff (I fixed an error). Please don't hit me too hard. Patrick -- ConTeXt wiki and more: http://contextgarden.net
