In a related note, is there any reasonable way to use the latex math font *Math Times Pro 2* (https://www.pctex.com/mtpro2.html)? I see there's an option to install more fonts (including utopia, useful for a project I'm working on). However, I have no idea how to use these fonts. Are they available in mkiv? only for mkii? this sample works fine with both MkIV and LMTX (no --fonts=all required):

AFAIK there are only packages for LaTeX to create crossword but you can use natural or extreme tables to create them. For the input Lua can be a better choice because you can put your words (or numbers) in a Lua table and use a loop to create a table for TeX.
