Thank you, but one small concern. If I omit second argument altoghether, that is \author{Bla-bla} is it possible to have skip? (Now skip doesn't work until I provide empty second parenthesizes) Regards, Vyatcheslav

When you define a command with two arguments you *need* two arguments, context has a few commands where you can make the second one optional but this requires more code. Wolfgang
