Many thanks for your reply, Hans. Images are found, but not with "directory=default", but with "location=default". Evince doesn’t display the images or colors. Acrobat for Linux doesn’t display it either (this is why I thought it might be a bug). But MuPDF and SumtraPDF (based on MuPDF) display it fine.
