Hi there, with the files form http://meeting.contextgarden.net/2011/talks/day2_03_thomas_xml-tutorial/, I tried: context --environment=mysecondstyle.tex myexample.xml But I don't get the PDF output (attached log file). What is wrong here? (Using ConTeXt stable from TL2011.) Best wishes for 2012, Pablo -- http://www.ousia.tk

Hi, the style defines the "tag" attribute as a context mode, so you need to run it as context --mode=11_09_21 --environment=mysecondstyle myexample.xml (which is also explained in the accompanying document xmlgeneral.org) But these files really are just a convenience for people who were present at the conference. I'm currently trying to finish a paper about this for the conference proceedings; you better wait for that. It doesn't make much sense just taking these files out of context (no pun intended) and running them; that's not what they were intended to be. A happy new year to all of you as well! Thomas

I overlooked it, sorry. No pun intended, but XML in ConTeXt is all Greek to me.

Your files were important to see that things work and maybe to start tinkering. Of course, I'm very interested in reading your paper as an introduction to the topic. Thanks again for your help, Pablo -- http://www.ousia.tk
