Hi all, while playing with the new extended cld stuff I encountered this: ----8<----------------------------------------------------------- context.starttext() context("\\toks0 = {Something}") context("\\the\\toks0") -- works --context(tex.toks[0]) -- fails print("·································································") print(tex.toks[0]) -- ‘The key mentioned above can't be used in a’ print("·································································") context.stoptext() ----8<----------------------------------------------------------- After setting ‘\toks0’ it cannot be accessed through ‘tex.toks’. Now, what’s so peculiar about this is that ‘tex.toks[0]’ carries a string from -- ‘thrd-tab.tex’‽ Any explanation? Did I miss something important? ----8<-----------------------------------------------------------
context.starttext()
context("\\toks0 = {Something}")
^^ gets printed to tex's input buffer so nothing set yet
context("\\the\\toks0") -- works --context(tex.toks[0]) -- fails
^^ at this point toks[0] has no value yet
print("·································································") print(tex.toks[0]) -- ‘The key mentioned above can't be used in a’ print("·································································")
context.stoptext()
