My minexample: \setupcombinedlist [content] [alternative=b, list={chapter, section, subject %subsubsection, }] \setuphead[subject][incrementnumber=list] \starttext \completecontent \subject{Without number. Should into the toc (there again without number) – but is not.} \section{With number and into the toc. That works.} \stoptext Huseyin
