Can \doifoddpageelse alter topspace?
Hello Contexters, is it possible to alter topspace somehow according to \doifoddpageelse? Or have I to use vertical page lists? I'd need this for composing a doublesided book in landscape mode with binding at the upper edge. Kind regards, Rudolf

You can define different layouts for left/right pages with the “even” and “odd” keywords for the \definelayout command. \definelayout [even] [backspace=5cm, width=10cm] \definelayout [odd] [backspace=10cm, width=5cm] \starttext \dorecurse{10}{\input knuth\page} \stoptext Wolfgang

Oh, it's simpler than I thought! With "topspace" instead of "backspace" it fullfills perfectly my needs. I thank you, Wolfgang! Rudolf
