ConTeXt Package for Notepad++ v. 5.0.3
Hi, Re: http://wiki.contextgarden.net/Notepad%2B%2B It mentions "you can also use it under wine". Regarding the ConTeXt support package for Npp, any idea where to copy the Application Data\Notepad++ directory to ? You can copy the Program Files\Notapad++ directory to wine's Program Files and copy the contents of the ConTeXt directory to the ConTeXt tree. However, under wine there's no Application data directory. Also, I'd like to copy my Windows Npp++ - Settings -> Preferences - Settings -> Styler Configurator settings - View -> User Define Dialog settings to Wine's Npp++ installation. Any idea which files are involved for these ? -- Best, Alan > Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron (Desktop) * ConTeXt ver: 2008.09.16 19:49 MKIV fmt: 2008.9.20 int: english/english (ConTeXt minimals installation) * texexec --lua foo

I got the Npp/Wine/LNX installation ok already Idris. Thanks anyway. It's Npp's WXP settings transfer to Wine/LNX I'm currently trying to figure out. That's for tomorrow. Will keep you informed if I manage to make this stuff work. -- Best, Alan Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron (Desktop) * ConTeXt ver: 2008.09.16 19:49 MKIV fmt: 2008.9.20 int: english/english (ConTeXt minimals installation) * texexec --lua foo

Making NppLW's console talk with the context minimal installation in /opt/context.
In a terminal window I tried alan@home:/opt/context/tex$ '/home/alan/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/Notepad++/notepad++.exe' Npp launches but in the console window context --version gives CreateProcess() failed. :O( -- Best, Alan Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron (Desktop) * ConTeXt ver: 2008.09.16 19:49 MKIV fmt: 2008.9.20 int: english/english (ConTeXt minimals installation) * texexec --lua foo
