ah, you generate dvi, i guess that if you convert it to ps you see bonds since the log shows that the mp file is made anyhow, why not use pdf output? \setupoutput[pdftex] or texexec --pdf .... or % output=pdftex (first line of doc) Hans ----------------------------------------------------------------- Hans Hagen | PRAGMA ADE Ridderstraat 27 | 8061 GH Hasselt | The Netherlands tel: 038 477 53 69 | fax: 038 477 53 74 | www.pragma-ade.com | www.pragma-pod.nl -----------------------------------------------------------------

\setupoutput[pdftex]
or
texexec --pdf ....
or
% output=pdftex (first line of doc)
Sorry, I tried both of them. But but either the .ps nor the .pdf shows the bonds. ;-((( Kai
Hi Hans, I've found the small problem (but I did not trace it fully, so the sugesstions could be false...) -- if one uses \startfiguretext...\stopfiguretext and the figure oversizes criterium defined in \setupfloat[figure][criterium=...] the float placement mechanism probably goes besides \sometextfloat macro so \dostopfloattext macro used in \stopfiguretext stays undefined and error appears. I've solved this with omitting criterium or with self-defining empty \dostopfloattext. Have a nice day, Martin
Dear friends, The next thing I would like to find out about the m-letter is how to determine the position of the addressee. I intend to use the letters in a regular convert with a window. For the position the addressee is placed (upper left corner) standard converts are hard to come by. The window sizes of course differ, but the one I would like to use is: 10 cm x 3 cm distance from upper page edge 8,8cm distance from right page edge 1,5 cm distance from left page edge 9,5cm Help is much appreciated. Kind regards, Robert Ermers

can you make an example that shows what goes wrong?
