I’ve been happy to include a “Typeset with ConTEXt” in the colophon page. This looks very interesting, from a typographical point of view. How did you create the music notation examples? Would it be possible to showcase a few pages that are particularly complex, on the wiki, for example? Thomas
Thanks Thomas, actually that was easy and I guess not very interesting. I just scanned the very different XXth century outputs and inserted them as images. I did some much more complicated stuff (notation generation) with a mix of technologies e.g. here, ConTeXt as a document wrapper: https://www.academia.edu/29939998/Historia_universalis https://www.academia.edu/29939998/Historia_universalis Best -a- -------------------------------------------------- Andrea Valle -------------------------------------------------- CIRMA - StudiUm Università degli Studi di Torino --> http://www.cirma.unito.it/andrea/ --> http://www.fonurgia.unito.it/andrea/ --> http://www.flickr.com/photos/vanderaalle/sets/ --> http://vimeo.com/vanderaalle --> http://andreavalle.bandcamp.com --> andrea.valle@unito.it -------------------------------------------------- "This is a very complicated case, Maude. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wPY0uKSpfY8 it anyhow amazes me how well traditional music notation still fits todays needs (https://www.youtube.com/user/war3gate etc); video and animations nicely fits it.
