Hi Hans, the last e-mail in this thread that you have forwarded to the ConTeXt list might be a little misleading, as the problem during later investigations appeared to be not related to pdftex (pdftex-1.40.1 works ok, no bug). I hope that Peter Münster, who was always in the Cc:, now knows what to do if he still wants to use HZ in DVI files. In short, he would need to generate all required expanded .tfm files (if not in autoexpand mode) and .pk fonts by hand with proper expanded naming, using e. g. mktextfm and gsftopk or mktexpk tools. But it's nowadays much much easier to do HZ in PDF mode. Regards, Hartmut
