so, what is the recommended way to clean the cache (when playing with fontfeatures)?
mtxrun --script cache will give you the options ... just try --purge ----------------------------------------------------------------- Hans Hagen | PRAGMA ADE Ridderstraat 27 | 8061 GH Hasselt | The Netherlands tel: 038 477 53 69 | voip: 087 875 68 74 | www.pragma-ade.com | www.pragma-pod.nl -----------------------------------------------------------------

Erasing the cache can mean "erase all"? This I didn't expect, sorry. I was quite surprised that I can't run "context.lua" (eg. for making formats) anymore, after I cleaned the cache. When I did it ("mtxrun --script cache --erase"), Is there something I can do to get my context install running again? Steffen

mtxrun --generate (re)creates the luatex filename database and your back in business. @Hans: some time ago (for example, Minimals 2010.11.12 18:22 MKIV) generating this database used to be taken care of automatically. Would it be possible to reenable this? Thanks, Oliver
