From older posts to the mailing list, it seems that the way to prevent TeX ligatures, specifically -- and ---, in \starttyping...\stoptyping in MkIV is to

1. define a font feature with tlig=no 2. define a font synonym for the monospace font that uses this font feature 3. setup typing to use this font synonym Is this currently the best way to solve the problem? Thanks, Kevin
