In a fit of madness I installed Miktex and now my minimals install is borked ("unknown script 'context.lua'...). Looking at the output it seems that Miktex has set a load of variables that Context is now using for itself. I suppose it would be nice to run side by side, but I guess I need to reset these variables when using Context. Is the texmfcnf.lua file the best place to put these? If so, then does anyone know what I should set the following to? SELFAUTOLOC SELFAUTODIR SELFAUTOPARENT TEXMFCNF TEXMF TEXOS Thanks in advance, Felix

From what I understand, MikTeX currently doesn't have any ConTeXt installed. So the whole difference that MikTeX makes is that it changes PATH to executables. If you want to use minimals, all you need to do is to put path to <minimals>/tex/texmf-mswin/bin in front of
Did you install minimals with windows installer or with bat file? path to MikTeX binaries. If you don't know how to change PATH (you can either do it with set PATH=... or with GUI somewhere is system settings), please ask again. (We need a clear entry in ConTeXt wiki about that.) Mojca
