Use latest or current version
I work 'always' with the latest version of ConTeXt. Now a client is going to use it. Should I install for them also the latest version, or is it better to use the current version (--context=current)? -- Cecil Westerhof

If the latest version works fine, I would install the latest one. "Current is not ready to use yet" :) :) :) Well, now you are welcome to install current of course, but until I do some modifications/completely decouple it, it often happens that current breaks/becomes out-of-sync with the rest of distribution. I would expect it the other way around. ;-} Well, now you are welcome to install current of course, but until I do

Then I'll take the part of the current version out of my document. -- Cecil Westerhof

That was the idea, but there are two problems: - there is no easy way to fix problems in current (and more important: nobody does it/would do it) - the whole distribution should be frozen, not just context files (if modules or binaries or fonts get updated, there may be discrepancies) I plan to fix that, but that has been on my schedule for over a year already.
