Hi, in the latest luametatex version, \the\font does ... something weird: E.g. with a current, fully updated lmtx, I get for \starttext \showthe\font \stoptext the output

}\ifempty \currentstyleparameter \else \dousecurrentstyleparameter \fi

instead of the expected

\3>modern-designsize-12pt-rm-tf-0--0

(or similar) (given that this contains an unmatched `}`, it causes havoc if \the\font is used in unsuspecting macro code.) Best regards, Marcel
