Missing \endcsname inserted ....... where as this compiles \starttext $$ [ {\bf{Q}},{\bf {R}} ] = {\bf{Q} } {\bf {R}} - \textbf{R} \textbf{Q} $$ \stoptext Why ?? Kind regards Wim

Why ??
Sorry about that, I was and am busy converting my Latex code into Context and forgot about this definition. I defined \textbf as follows
\def\textbf#1{{\bf #1}} BTW Taco already gave the answer. Thanks Taco Thanks Wim
