Hi Hans, can you add an \unexpanded (as in mkiv) to the mkii definition of \getbuffer? [buff-ini.mkii] \unexpanded\def\getbuffer {\dodoubleempty\dogetbuffer} Without it compilation breaks here somehow (error with my nested buffers). No such problems with the \unexpanded definition.
