Hello, I would like to ask someone on any (ancient or not) linux distribution to test if the pdftex binary for linux works OK, just to let me know if I may continue using that machine to compile binaries for minimals. (I did not update luatex, metapost or xetex, so only pdftex binary should be affected.) OS X 10.4 issues will hopefully be resolved soon. (I need a few iterations to figure out which compiler switches are needed to make the binaries work on Tiger. I'll worry about Snow Leopard when first user starts complaining.) Mojca

I compiled a simple tex file, on Ubuntu 8.10, and I think it is working :) Regards, Khaled -- Khaled Hosny Arabic localiser and member of Arabeyes.org team Free font developer

OK, thanks. Let's hope that it will work now. I have also committed the luatex binary for Mac that hopefully works on Tiger. If anyone experiences troubles again (other than those connected with rapid development that), let me know. Mojca
