Hi, I have uploaded a new version of DocbookInContext. This version has a sizable contribution by Richard Rascher-Friesenhausen, with a.o. Metapost graphics for admonitions, a Spanish translation of literal strings by Pablo Rodriguez, and numerous small features. It also introduces backgrounds, a.o. for programlistings, but unfortunately this feature seems to cause spurious page breaks under certain circumstances. In addition the web page has a nice example of how you can customize DocbookInContext by writing your own module, also by Richard Rascher-Friesenhausen. You can find DocbookInContext at http://www.hobby.nl/~scaprea/context/. Regards, Simon -- Simon Pepping email: spepping@scaprea.hobby.nl

What background mechanism do you use? The new one? The new one works in columns, floats and is pretty powerful (nesting, layering etc) \definetextbackground[blabla] etc ? [discussed in details.pdf of which i will upload a more extendes version later]

Sorry, it is not the new background mechanism. The backgrounds are done by \startbackground ... \stopbackground.

hm. i should redefine that in the new mechanism; the one you use is more sensitive to spacing issues Hans ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hans Hagen | PRAGMA ADE | pragma@wxs.nl Ridderstraat 27 | 8061 GH Hasselt | The Netherlands tel: +31 (0)38 477 53 69 | fax: +31 (0)38 477 53 74 | www.pragma-ade.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------- information: http://www.pragma-ade.com/roadmap.pdf documentation: http://www.pragma-ade.com/showcase.pdf -------------------------------------------------------------------------

That would be really helpful - these quick commands are very useful at times but the page breaking problem can be a showstopper. Thanks Hans. Duncan dh@capdm.com
