Thanks for the explanation and wiki.contextgarden.net link. Should ConTeXt simply refuse to process the project file, instead of the message that it is producing a project PDF? In some cases might it be helpful to regenerate in one pass the complete set of products for a project. I guess that is a job for a shell script rather than TeXShop. Thanks again Henri, Mike
