Hi, the following minimal example works fine in MKII, but the third columns are not aligned in MKIV
\starttext
\startformula\startalign[n=3] \NC X \NC = 1 + 2 \NC = 3 \NR \NC Y \NC = 1 + 2 + 3 \NC = 6 \NR \NC Z \NC = 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 \NC = 10 \NR \stopalign\stopformula

Is this a bug or the interface has changed in MKIV?
This is a bug. I haven't investigated what is causing this.
As a temporary fix, add this to your style file: \unprotect \def\math_alignment_NC_first {\dostarttagged\t!mathtablerow\empty \dostarttagged\t!mathtablecell\empty \glet\math_alignment_NC\math_alignment_NC_rest} \protect @Hans, please fix the definition of \math_alignment_NC_first in math-ali.mkiv @@ -164,7 +164,7 @@ \def\math_alignment_NC_first {\dostarttagged\t!mathtablerow\empty \dostarttagged\t!mathtablecell\empty - \let\NC\math_alignment_NC_rest} + \glet\math_alignment_NC\math_alignment_NC_rest} Aditya
