The following example works with MkIV latest, but fails with LMTX latest (Win10 x64). The complaint is ! Missing math style, treated as \displaystyle.

        Level 3 first

    \stopitemize
  \stopitemize
\stoptext

The culprit is the third level of itemize -- without that it is clean on both engines.

I would appreciate knowing if other folks have the same problem, and if so, if there is a workaround until a fix can be posted.
