Dear Hans,
After downloading the latest Beta, remaking hte formatfile I got a
! TeX capacity exceeded, sorry [text input levels=15].
So the log file is included. The testfile itself contains:
\setupoutput[pdftex]
\usetypescript [var] [latin-modern] % supported for texnansi and ec
\usetypescript [all] [latin-modern] [\defaultencoding]
\usetypescript[modern][\defaultencoding]
\setupbodyfont[modern,16pt]
\starttext
\"e\"u\"o\"a
\stoptext
Do you have a clue why this happens?
Kind regards Willi

Hi,
As some of you may have noticed ... the latin modern fonts have
umlauts. I added a few files to the context zip, so that those who want
to see the difference can play with it. Just (un)comment the first line in:
\usetypescript [var] [latin-modern] % supported for texnansi and ec
\usetypescript [all] [latin-modern] [\defaultencoding]
\usetypescript[modern][\defaultencoding]
\setupbodyfont[modern]
\starttext
\"e\"u\"o\"a
\stoptext
technically one can also mix things but i leave that for the moment that
lm has replaced cm. (first need to sort that out with plr)
Hans
