Of course I understand, I'd solve it the same way... But, I'd suggest to print some warning, if some functionality is moved or removed. Although, texutil is called correctly when processing a file with texexec (maybe texexec calls methods from texutil.rb directly...) indeed, texexec.rb therefore does not need to start another script (so we're faster now)
