Michael Green:
Mk II gets the desired result; Mk IV does not.
Example:
\usemodule[bib] \setuppublications[alternative=num,refcommand=num] ...
That's it then. I'm using Mk IV. Is there a proper way to use it? By the way, the developers should know something: in English, a "criterium" is a kind of bicycle race. The key should be called "criterion".
