Is there a way to combine them? I was hoping to have the dotted variant above the normal bar.
I would like to have this type of “complete” bar nesting as well. As it stands, you can nest \underbars inside \underbars and \overstrikes inside \overstrikes and \overbars inside \overbars, but no other combinations work. Interoperability between these (as well as \underdot, \underdash, \underrandom ...) would be really cool. Either with \xxxxbar or a nestable dy-shift version of textbackgrounds would be really handy sometimes. :)
This is not working
%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% \starttext
\underbar{asdf}
\underdot{asdf}
\underbar{\underdot{asdf}}
\stoptext %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%
Best, Denis
