what cmr does xetex use? a special version? we can of course make a xetex specific typescript to setup the default fonts
It's a straight opentype encapsulation of the CMR type1 fonts from CTAN, as far as I can tell. Getting LM in there is a function of $x$ Jonathan Kew's time, $y$ when the next XeTeX release is, and $z$ the stability of LM's current release. I'll try to measure $z$ with Jacko later today... -- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Adam T.
