With this change in all the engines---thanks to Aditya too---ConTeXt-pdftex.engine and ConTeXt-XeTeX.engine now work as they should (which is great!)
But running ConTeXt-luatex.engine gets

But then: you have an intel processor, right? If not, change that line

I have an Intel processor and there is a bin folder in ./Applications/ConTeXtMinimals/tex/texmf-osx-intel/
