Use \startrawsetups … \stoprawsetups.
So, it's not a bug, but a feature? Should it be documented like "In the
startsetups - stopsetups environment, a newline has not effect. If you
need the normal behaviour of a newline (as a space), use startrawsetups
- stoprawsetups instead." ?
Feature, \startsetups ignores the end of the line while \startrawsetups keeps it.
