So it seems likely that there is something special going on with exactly your computer or your context installation. Still, I fail to see what this implies. In particular, I find it not the most professional to assume a dust-proof environment for a real-world product, and even unreasonable to assume that for something like `context --help` given that no other commands are making a scene when printing help messages.
What binary are you using for luametatex ? The normal linux 64-bit one from
the lmtx distribution?

The point is that if this was a common problem, many users would complain or at least respond to your message with a “me too”. So it seems likely that there is something special going on with exactly your computer or your context installation.
