Last week I tried to use the latest beta with my documents and the beta was unable to run my documents. As it seems it is not backward compatible and I have no time at the moment to debug or test.

Sorry, but I’m afraid that ConTeXt has beta releases almost every week (when not every day). Just in case it helps, I had to remove the luatex-cache directory and run "mtxrun --generate", before I could use the new fonts (cache reloading doesn’t work for me [even forcing it]).
