The sysops are working to get it working again. I'll report back if things are working correctly.

ConTeXt seems to be working again.

BTW: Mojca has suggested to install a newer version of pdftex (currently 3.141592-1.21a-2.2) on the server. Which distribution would you prefer? The requirements:

* debian 3.1 (Intel) * no cdrom available, no ability to mount loopback devices * almost no space limit * I don't want to update the distribution more often then once a year.

tried live ConTeXt and I got no pdf file.

I copied the error message from the log file.

ConTeXt ver: 2006.10.05 17:31 MK II fmt: 2006.10.11 int: english/english

language : language en is active system : cont-new loaded (/opt/context/current/texmf/tex/context/base/cont-new.tex

FatalError : Your format does not match the base files!
