In other, related news, I notice that Apple's Preview.app has trouble with ConTeXt-generated (er, pdfTeX, I suppose) bookmarks. They appear fine, but the bookmarks, when clicked, don't go to the right places. Bookmarks from other sources are fine in Preview, and the ConTeXt/pdfTeX bookmarks are fine in Acrobat.
I tried several files containing bookmarks (such as the file "show-fil.pdf") but the links have the right behaviour.
Sorry I wasn't clear. I meant the bookmarks in the document outline view, and not general within-document or web links.
Adam, could you please send me a test file with which you have noticed such a problem? (You may send the example file off list).
If you open the result (from below) in Acrobat, the outline of bookmark appears and you can go to the page by clicking on a section. In Preview (from 10.3), the bookmarks appear, but aren't clickable. Other PDFs (like <http://developer.apple.com/documentation/Printing/Conceptual/ PDF_Workflow/PDF_Workflow.pdf>) show the bookmarks, and make them clickable as well. \setupinteraction[state=start] \placebookmarks[chapter,section,subsection] \setupinteractionscreen[option=bookmark] \starttext \chapter{La} \chapter{Lo} \section{Li} \chapter{Lu} Keats takes Kate's skate. \stoptext -- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Adam T.
