Can someone please tell me why the following does not center the text in the first row?

\setupTABLE[row][1][align={middle}]
\setupTABLE[column][1][width=2.5in,align={lohi}]

This setup overwrites the previous one, write them in reverse order and it will work.

\setupTABLE[column][1][width=2.5in,align={lohi}]
\setupTABLE[column][2][width=3in,align={lohi}]

\setupTABLE[row][1][align={middle}]

But that does not work either.
