I think some font features should be on by default, so that \definefontfeature[script=arabic] should be enough to get an Arabic font btw, this is why we already have arabic as featureset defined
I wasn't aware of that, I think having a set of predefined features would be perfectly OK, just if one can reuse it: some thing like \definefontfeature[include=arabic], may be some thing like that is already implemented?
indeed, for instance there is an arabic predefined (not sure if it's ok) which you can extend if needed: \definefontfeature[myarabic][arabic][rlig=yes] in typescripts and font definitions you can just use 'myarabic' \definedfont[arabtype*myarabic] \definetypeface.........[features=arabic] etc etc ----------------------------------------------------------------- Hans Hagen | PRAGMA ADE Ridderstraat 27 | 8061 GH Hasselt | The Netherlands tel: 038 477 53 69 | fax: 038 477 53 74 | www.pragma-ade.com | www.pragma-pod.nl -----------------------------------------------------------------
