is this a bug too? ----------------------------------- %\chapter{Bla} \definenumber[PC]\getnumber[PC] \setnumber[PC]{1}\getnumber[PC] \incrementnumber[PC]\getnumber[PC] \incrementnumber[PC]\getnumber[PC] ----------------------------------- Without \chapter I get: 0 1 2 3 With \chapter: 0 1 1 2 by default counters are reset per chapter and incrementnumber does the check
Hmm. But isn't it wrong to reset a counter who doesn't even exist with chapter start? Why not do the same check with setnumber?
well, that's the way it is designed and it has been so for many years you can also use: \newcounter\MyCounter \increment\MyCounter show: \MyCounter ----------------------------------------------------------------- Hans Hagen | PRAGMA ADE Ridderstraat 27 | 8061 GH Hasselt | The Netherlands tel: 038 477 53 69 | fax: 038 477 53 74 | www.pragma-ade.com | www.pragma-pod.nl -----------------------------------------------------------------
