The problem is this: In the upper left corner the word "Screen" is placed and I cannot get rid of it.

Searching in the sources did not reveal enough to spot a macro putting it there.

The strange thing is that this happens in both the TeXShop previewer and in Apple's Preview application but not in the Adobe version 8.1 reader, GraphicConverter and Safari (I am working on MacOSX 10.4.10).

Does someone know its origin? 

Does it occur on other PC types as well or is it typical for MacOSX?

Or is it something in the pdf that shows up under certain circumstances?
