Same way round actually. 7 Pro enables the enabling of comments (a paraphrase of "enables commenting") in a document. The "commenting author" is the one who writes the comments and needs (as I said) on Mac (I believe), Reader 7. We are saying the same thing. The meat of the thread was more about the how-to's and why-not's of enabling "Reader Extensions" w/o 7 Pro.
