I think this may be what you need:

 \setupinteraction[state=start]
 \attachment[file=\jobname.tex]
 \starttext
 \input zapf
 \stoptext

just like in LaTeX using package »embedall«

I think it is way better that you explain what you want to achieve.

I’d say that not all ConTeXt users are also proficient in LaTeX. In my
case, I haven’t use it for more than a decade.
